Home and Harmony

I want to introduce all of you to a very sweet woman named Rie. She has just started a new inspirational design blog called Home and Harmony! She too loves living with white!
She is a creative mother of six adorable children. As you can see she has a beautiful family and beautiful home. In her blog she shares some of her creative design solutions. One of my favorites is how she turned glass doors into the perfect farmhouse styled doors. Then there is the kitchen! What's not to like about this kitchen!
I am just loving Rie and her design ideas. She just started her blog and I am already so inspired by her.
This home is the type of home I dream about owning, I just love it! It is actually for sale. I wish I lived in North Carolina!

Rie emailed me after I had posted about my girls' bedroom and shared a picture of her girls' bedroom. She is a fan of the pompoms as well. I knew you would all love this picture. How sweet is that. Who needs a chandelier!!! It doesn't get any better then this. I love all the little animals sitting in the window sill. I hope you will all visit Rie at Home and Harmony and send her some of your love.
Thank you Rie for letting me share your talents with the most encouraging group of people in the world!
I know you are all going to LOVE her! I know I already do!

Have a wonderful Day!
Thank you,
Maria

Maria,

I love your blog; it's so inspiring! We made those same poms poms for my daughter's birthday two years ago, and kept them for decor. You and Rie are such beautiful women with beautiful families. I'm so excited to see what you ladies come up with next.

Thank you for introducing me to Rie! Also..that last pic makes me want to be a little girl all over again. Now...I just need your help with a little boy's room. Thurgood will be 3 in June and I am thinking it is time for a "big boy" room. :)

Hi Maria! I stumbled across your blog two days ago and I just wanted to tell you how much I love it! I love white as well...I have 4 boys so it's a bit of a challenge at times. I love your daughters rooms but I was wondering what you do with your boys rooms? Decorating I mean??? I'd love to see some pictures if you have any! Thanks again for such a lovely blog! -Kristen

Hey there! Just found your blog and alas, I started mine out of a love of white too. (You'd probably love the Weekly Whiteout posts I do.) I don't have kids yet, but I'm THRILLED to see you make it work with the light furniture, etc. you love. So encouraging!!

Great work! I just recently found your blog via In the Fun Lane and I love both room makeovers! I particularly love what you did with the camellias for your blog header. It's all so lovely! I just planted a new camellia, so I might be heading on down to the thrift shops soon!
