Hello Everyone!
I have to apologize, unfortunately I wasn't able to get all of my pictures uploaded for today's post...
I just ran out of storage space on blogger.....
I guess you have to wait 24 hours from the time you purchased more space to start uploading.
I will hopefully be back on Monday with more pictures for you.
I wanted to let you know there is still time to enter my Star Fish Design giveaway...
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Take Care,
Maria
I saw this happened to someone else, running out of storage space on blogger. I thought blogger was free. Were you surprised about this? What is the deal with having to buy space?
ReplyDeleteDear Maria,
ReplyDeleteyou can upload your photos on flickr (photobucket, picasa, etc.) Flickr is another great communication network and it would be nice following you there...
Gosh, I also thought it was free!!
ReplyDeleteSee you Monday!!
I just purchased $5.00 in more storage space a week ago. I was suprised when this happened to me !! I couldn't beeive it and thought it was a scam at first.
ReplyDeleteI'm able to upload now thankgoodness.
that has been happening a lot in blogland. not good, we love our photos. have a great weekend maria.
ReplyDeleteWow I had no idea you could run out of space. Did you have you BUY space? xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow yes this is news to me too!! I guess I'll be a little pickier from now on. And glad you will still be posting here...I'd miss you! Have a wonderful weekend. Stacey
ReplyDeleteUgh, it happened to me, too.
ReplyDeleteHad to give the devil his due.
Check your e-mail, sweet girl! :-)
Hu? I don't understand, I didn't know this could happen...now I'm worried this will happen to me soon. I upload all my pictures to picasa, I wonder if that helps.
ReplyDeleteTo Kristin, it's picasa requiring payment.
ReplyDeleteStinks, doesn't it?
Well that stinks! Must be their bait and hook...give you free uploads for awhile, then hit you with "pay per view".
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I'll be next.

You ran out of storage space in Blogger? I didn't know that could happen... now I'm worried... haha!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
xoxo,
Jo :)
p.s. Have you seen how many people have entered my giveaway to receive your gorgeous gift package... over 300 now! They just love that lavender package! :)
I had no idea that that could happen! That stinks! I use Picasa as well, I wonder if that will help?
ReplyDeleteThis is quite a feat! an annoying one, but one none the less :>)
ReplyDeleteQuestion!!! Where did you get the chair that is in your header?? I LOVE IT!!!!
What? What is storage space? Can someone fill me in...please.
ReplyDeleteThe storage space is what we use up when we load pictures into our blogger. I didn't even know I was close to using up my storage space. It was only 5.00 to purchase 20GB. I will have to renew every year now.
ReplyDeleteKind of a pain, especially since they make you wait 24 hours to start uploading again.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Maria
Yikes, do you run out of space because of the amount of pictures or the amount of posts? How much do you have to pay to get more space?
ReplyDeleteHi Maria!! Cant wait to see your beautiful images!! Have a wonderful weekend~*~*Hugs,Rachel
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you shared this with us rookie bloggers out here, Maria. Thanks for the inside scoop. Now we'll all be a little more particular about what we upload, I guess. :( Bummer.....

Your images are always the best!
ReplyDeleteHi Maria!
ReplyDeleteAgain ... I'm one of those that didn't realise you have a limit :( it'll make me be more choosy!
I wanted to Thankyou for posting this post... and it has nothing to do with you running out of space on blogger.
You're going to have a real giggle when I tell you that I saw your title and then I saw your chair with the towels on it and I immediately thought...''she has no-where to put her towels either!" ... my next thought was...' That's Brilliant!"... why?... because we have no towel storage in our bathroom and that sweet chair with those few towels take up very little room and would be perfect for our bathroom. So a BIG THANKYOU for a simple idea!
Kindest Wishes
Marina
I have not often heard people run out of space that quick.. your pictures must be huge! So you have picasa albums as well where your pictures are stored? Over there you can see very good how much space is left

bonjour chere Maria :)
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment! Your blog is scrumptious. I had no idea Blogger charges for photo storage. Thanks for sharing that, but sorry you couldn't upload all your photos. I'm sure they are beautiful and I'll be sure to check back later. ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Maria, I also know that it can happen, there are many bloggers who have been purchasing more space. Still, it has not hit me. Hope you had a good weekend and I always look forward to your nice messages. Hugs to you / Ingela.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos and look forward to seeing the rest of them. You have a talent for making everyday objects and vignettes beautiful. Best wishes.

So funny i just had to do this tonight! But thankfully mine worked in like 5 minutes or i would have gotten flustered!
ReplyDeleteFill boxes to capacity wherever possible to avoid breakages but avoid making them too heavy - remember you'll have to be able to lift them. You can use materials such as paper or towels or can buy special packing to fill spaces if necessary.
ReplyDeleteStainless steel cabinets may seem sturdier at first sight, and they generally are, but some chemicals as well as many pesticides are highly corrosive and will eat right through all that stainless steel. However, they cannot eat through polyethylene, so that's what storage cabinets for corrosive chemicals and pesticides are made of.
ReplyDeleteHappened to me too! Just run out of space... I think i'll be moving somewhere else.
