Dreamy Whites Online Mother's Day Sale and Mixing Modern, Industrial, and French Farmhouse Pieces Together

Hello Everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend....
I had a couple things I wanted to share today....
First I wanted to tell you about a SALE I am having on my site, Dreamy Whites Online.
I have marked a number of things on sale in my shop this week, in honor of Mother's Day.
The sale starts today and will run until May 8th.
I will be adding new items to my shop every night this next week.
All items in the shop ship for free to anywhere in the continental United States.
Thank you to everyone who has chosen to shop with me over the past four months!
I am truly honored that you would choose to shop Dreamy Whites Online!

I wanted to share a few ways I like to mix industrial, modern, and French Farmhouse pieces together.

I love these industrial tubs from Europe....
The antique label that is attached to the tub, adds a lot of color even when it isn't holding a bouquet of flowers. ( I will soon be able to fill it with hydrangeas from my garden.)
I think it helps add an industrial and modern feel to the entryway.
I especially like how the industrial tub looks paired with the more formal antique chair...

I have a few of these tubs and use them for many different purposes in the house, such as storing my lavender buds in, and if you subscribed to the House of Fifty,
then you saw the one I have in my bedroom, that I used to store my pillows in.

I chose to use a more modern light fixture here.
It has a modern but yet farmhouse feel to it...

I used natural grain sacks for a rug...
The metal tub, the clock above the mantle, and the light fixture all add modern elements to the room.
The bistro chair and antique french natural wood shutter leaning against the wall add elements of french farmhouse to the entryway.....
The antique Italian chair adds a formal touch to the modern, industrial, and french farmhouse mix.
What styles do you like to mix together?

I will be taking the rest of the week off from blogging.
I will hopefully be back sometime next week.

I hope you all have a great week.
Take Care,
Maria

The tub is beautiful...love it with the flowers..adds the perfect touch.
Your light fixture goes so well with what you have!
I love farmhouse style, prairie, shabby and some modern country..I try to pick pieces I love and incorporate them to give the look I love.
I love your whites and the shade for the floor blends beautifully with it.
Have a great week Maria xo

Hi Maria, I have always loved the farmhouse "feel" at my mom's home. She has used natural grain sacks as rugs by the door for many years... I just love the way it looks. Simple yet fabulous. Have a great day!

I love the industrial tub! The flowers you have added make it so pretty. Usually when i buy something for the home it falls into three categories... shabby chic, french farmhouse and industrial.
Enjoy your week!

I love your post! That tub with the lilacs is so great!!! I have one of those zinc tubs and we used it for dirty clothes - so much prettier with the lilacs. Love it!

Gorgeous, Maria. My post tomorrow will discuss the a similar "mix" of modern & vintage, focusing on my use of metals. I would love to link to this post as another resource if that's okay with you. Thank you so much for the sale! I purchased the gray & white ticking pillow that I've been coveting. Enjoy your break, sweetie!

Hugs,
Jami
