Hello Everyone!
I hope you are having a great week.
I wanted to share a way to add a bit of color to your house.....
I love displaying vintage bottles, they add nice pops of color, especially to a mostly white house.
Here I made a display with vintage french wine blottles.
Bottles are a great way to add color to your home when you don't have access to fresh flowers.
I carry these antique french wine racks and vintage french bottles in my shop, however I also wanted to tell you that you can get vintage inspired mug racks for a great price at Vintage Station.... My Aunt Mickey's shop in Oregon.
They are really neat.
On another note.... I wanted to share a picture of our new puppy, Rambo....
Remember when I posted about going to Montana?
My dad sent one of his dantiff puppies home with the kids as a Christmas gift.
A dantiff is a cross between an english mastiff and a great dane.
He is definitely well loved....
Here is a picture of his dad, Bazzle.
Isn't he cute?
Hope you are all enjoying your week!
White Flower Farmhouse Giveaway...
It ends tomorrow night at midnight.
Have a great Wednesday!
Take Care,
Maria
Your bottles look so pretty and you are so right about using them when we don't have fresh flowers:) LOVE your little pup. What a gorgeous color too. His dad is beautiful:) Have fun with the little one:)

ReplyDeleteOh Maria Bazzle grew fast! They're big dogs! We have a boxer named Kai, and love her to pieces. I love the vintage bottle drying rack, and how you use it to add color. Also with the mugs, I think when you have friends over for coffee it's a wonderful way to display the mugs at a coffee station. Your blog so inspires me, and just to say a beautiful pic of your daughter. Have a wonderful day, xoxo tami
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! How darling! And Bazzle looks just like Fang, Hagrid's dog, in the Harry Potter movies.

ReplyDeleteHey Maria,
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage racks so much, got a few here. I like the look with the old bottles to bring a bit of color around too.
You know what I really love is your puppy! Big dogs are so gentle and are great caregivers. My hubby was really ill last night and even though our Zeke hasn't been feeling good lately, he went over and stayed by him all night.
Thanks for the link, hope all's well with you, give your puppy a hug from me and Zeke. What's his name, don't see it here?

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to tell you how you inspired me to start my blog. I think we live in the same area, and I had been hearing about you around the county. About 6 weeks ago I was in a local shop and the shopkeeper happened to mention your blog-that night I checked it out and was hooked. It's so beautiful and inspiring.I love your pictures of Montana. I lived on Flathead Lake, near Bigfork, for a short time in the early 80s. I remember going to Kalispell for my first rodeo.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my daughters have the same monogrammed mugs. My 14 year old drinks tea from her "L" mug nearly everyday. Thanks for the inspiration.
Have a beautiful day!

Your bottles are gorgeous. This post is perfectly timed considering I just posted about my color commitment issues today...and make reference to the lavender bottle that I purchased from you, which started me down a path of wanted to accent with lavender. I LOVE that little bottle. I adore your French Drying Rack and the minute I sell enough clay tags, I'll be all over it as my special treat. And, you know I love that white bistro chair.
ReplyDeleteHave a great night, sweet girl!
Jami
Oops..and both dogs are so cute. I especially love the color of your newest, cuddly addition. Your daughter is beautiful, but you're her mother so I'm sure you know that already. ;)

We have a Rambo too. But he is so much smaller than your Rambo. He is a very tiny Biewer Yorkie but he thinks he is a big Rottweiler, haha. Your puppy looks so sweet. I love great dogs but to our life fits a small one better and we have two of them.
ReplyDeleteThe light turquoise bottles on the left side on your picture are so pretty, I wish I could find similiars on a flea.
