Hello!
Today I just wanted to share a few images I shot the other day of my kids doing their chores....
Fair is only a month away so they are busy getting their steers ready for the fair....
A typical hot summer day ends with the kids and Rambo taking a quick dip in the ponds on the ranch....
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
We are headed to the lake!
Take Care,
Maria
I love this post... it brought back so many memories of when I was younger and we would prepare for the fair! Such sweet photos.

This is such a perfect way of raising children, Maria. Simple country life full of love of animals, daily chores, learning responsibilities...and fun times. :)

I rediscovered you thru Red Door and thank GOODNESS she posted about you, because I used to read your blog daily a year or two ago, and then forgot the name and was always on the search to find you again. so happy to be back here. cant wait to hear how the fair goes. reminds me of my days as a 4-H er. Happy summer and 4th of july to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteYour kids are beautiful Maria! I certainly wouldn't have minded doing chores as a kid if they involved animals...how fun!
ReplyDeletegreat photos! I loved swimming in the dam on the farm as a child, getting all muddy and trying to caqtch yabbys ( I think you call them red claw?)
ReplyDeleteWhat a tremendous gift to give your kids that they are an integral part of taking care of the animals, cooling off by jumping in the pond with their clothes on, being best friends with their siblings. LOVE it!
