We Moved, Lilacs, French Bulldogs

Hello!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
I haven't had much of a chance to blog lately....
We recently moved and life has been a little crazy for us the past couple of months.
We only moved fifteen minutes away.
We bought our first house : )
We believe it to be at least a hundred years old.
We are currently in the process of renovating it : )
I will start sharing pictures on my blog as soon as we have internet hooked up : )
I have been posting pictures on instagram.....

This is a picture of the garage....
I fell in love with the garage the moment I saw it....
I painted the shutters Farrow & Ball's  Manor House Gray.....

I am going to turn it into a work studio....

An image of a vintage French trugg that I will be listing in the shop....

***********************************

Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers.....
Bleu was quite curious when I brought these into the house....

She couldn't stop smelling them : )

****************************

The front door to our house is a dark green color....
I plan to paint the door a dark gray color....

The steps are a bright red color.....

I plan to paint them gray also.....

What color would you paint the doors and steps?

******************************

I also wanted to share a few pictures of our French Bulldogs.......
Ella when she was just eight weeks old checking out her reflection in the mirror for the first time.....

An image of my daughter's litter of French bulldogs she has available.
You can email Nicole, my daughter if you are interested in a French Bulldog Puppy...

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Take Care,
Maria

I love the pictures of your new house. I'm very curious how it will turn out. The door in gray must be fabulous. I like the steps in red though; they seem to be part of the house like this. Succes with everything and greetings from Holland.

Maria, congratulations on your home. You must be so very excited. And congrats to Nicole on a beautiful litter of Frenchies. I am sitting here drinking my coffee with my daughter's little Frenchie Henry Francis. And of course he's sleeping/snorting loudly.

I have started painting and would love to use some of your flower photos as inspiration, with your permission of course.

Congratulations on your new house. I love the garage.
Those puppies are adorable!
I'd paint those stairs grey and you could go with a bright door if you like a pop of colour.
Hope that you will show us the inside too when you get a chance.

Congrats on the new home, can't wait to see what you come up with!

I LOVE the red steps, especially against the white home.

If it where me I would keep the steps as is and paint the door Benjamin Moore Chelsea gray.

Those puppies are delicious, I might just have to inquire :)

Congratulations on your first home, it looks so pretty, I am sure you will transform it into a lovely home with cottage style. The garage is also very cute as you say and I love the colours of the shutters. Very similar to the old French shutter I have just hung in my home office.

Your photos are fabulous, your dogs are adorable and I have been pinning away.

Dear Maria

I`m, Daniela, reader from Switzerland.
On your IG, I read about your new chandeliers in your new house, that you don`t like because of the gold.
There is a very interesting blog:

http://measvintage.blogspot.ch/2014/05/luster-lampchen-kerkestager-messing.html

She explains very well, how to make look chandeliers older in vintage style. And it is not difficult;-)

I absolutely adore your blog and IG feed as well and hope I could help

xoxo
