Christmas in New York City and Anthropologie

 Hello!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
I was going through pictures on my laptop tonight in our hotel and realized I hadn't posted pictures I took last year
of the Anthropologie in New York City......
Anthropologie had the best Christmas decorations....
I am sorry it took me a year to post the Anthropologie pictures.....
New York City during the Christmas season.
It was a rare occasion for all of us to take a trip like this,

it was a trip we will never forget.

The Anthropologie we went to is in the building in the above image.
It was right next to the Rockefeller Center.
The girls really wanted to go ice skating......

However the line was soooooo long.

The Christmas tree next to the Rockefeller was beautiful......

This was my favorite window at Anthropologie....

I wished I had all day to photograph Anthropologie's Christmas decorations....
Here is a mini tour of what their store looked like last year.
Be sure and notice all the details that were added to each window display......

This was one of my favorite displays.
The kids and I have made snow globes using canning jars a number of years ago....
I am hoping we will get that project done again this year....

My sweet little Bethany....

I hope you enjoyed the tour.....

Here are a few images I shot of the city while we were there...
I shared these last year on my blog....

We loved the Apple store.....

Thank you for taking the time to stop by!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
We are still in Oklahoma City for the horse show.
We are flying back home today.
Take Care,
Maria

P.S. There is still time to enter the fresh wreath and stocking giveaway!

Dear Maria,
thanx for the pictures, they are fantastic!!! It´s about ten years ago that I´ve been in New York. It was at the end of November and already decorated! I wish I could go there soon again. The Anth. Shop looks great - I wish we would have one in Germany!
Have a peaceful christmas season,
Kiki

We might have been there at the same time last year! :) This is one of their most beautiful stores and I shop in this store whenever we're in NYC or going to a show at Radio City (I'll be there again next week). Anthropologie in Philadelphia is even more beautiful (but smaller than NYC)--the architecture of the building alone is absolutely STUNNING. No one can compare to their incredible style and innovative ideas...
Wishing you a beautiful holiday season to you and your family~

THANKS FOR SHARING THOSE AWESOME PICTURES. NEW YORK LOOKS A LITTLE TO BUSY FOR THIS COUNTRY BUMPKIN....

Great images, you captured so much detail. The people at Anthropologie are artistic beyond compare. Because they think well outside of the box and display their creativity so generously, I find it gets my own creative juices flowing. And you can hear the hustle of New York just by looking at your pictures.

There is a historical old bank building in Oakville Ontario {where I live}; it is currently being restored to the historical society standards, and by spring it will be the new home of Anthropologie. Yeah! it is a two minute walk from my house.

Love ny at christmas. Have only been once but am dying to go back. My boys wanted to ice skate the entire time. We went to the rink in central park, not as crowded as rockefellar center.
Thanks for sharing!
Ps i ordered one of those gorgeous wreaths for my dad for christmas. Cant wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the idea, he is very hard to buy for.

Thank you for the beautiful tour of the Anthropology store. They have some of the most creative minds and talent working for them. My favorite was the tartan tablecloth. I would love to recreate that table and room in my dining room, but my family would think I was crazy. Who am I kidding, they all ready do...Ho Ho HO

What wonderful displays! I wonder what they do with all that stuff after the new year? It had to have cost a lot of money to have someone come in and design it all. Always nice to see NYC from afar. I like the city but it always leaves me grumpy and exhausted (and in the ER one time!). I think I'm more of a 'let's go to the mountains' kind of girl ; )

Wishing you a safe trip home!
