Adèle, the Boys' Study Partner and a French Chalk Board....

Hello,
I wanted to share a picture I took yesterday with my iphone and shared on instagram....
(Adèle is the boys' favorite study partner : )
The chalk board is a vintage french chalk board that came out of a school house in France....
I bought it for practically nothing from one of my favorite french importers at the Chateau Sonoma Flea Market....
The boys currently use it for spelling and math...

On another note....
The girls and I have been working on creating some fun cards to go out with orders....
Here we printed off a 3.5 x 5.5 image I shot of the Vintage French Bowling pins and adhered the image
to a 4" x 6" post card using Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive ....
Then we wrapped some of our vintage Dutch Butcher Twine around the card to finish it off.
I used to make my own Christmas cards using images of the kids and I love making cards with the kids...
I am going to try and create some stationary to sell in the shop, I am still working on trying to find the right paper and printer...

Enjoy the rest of your day!
Take Care,
Maria

An easy way to remember that stationery is spelled with an "e" is that the word letter has only "e's" in it!

Love your blog and the pretty card backed with the grain sack........

Maria,
Yesterday your generous and beautiful gifts arrived!

Thank you so much!

My selections from your beautiful store were wrapped in simple white tissue with that wonderful red & white twine. The scent of lavender filled my home while I unwrapped my beautiful gifts.

I selected a beautiful french grain sack apron, the large, perfect tote bag, and an adorable grain sack bottle cover! I can't say enough about these beautiful items.
I am a collector of American feedsacks, but the weight and texture of these french textiles is just amazing. The workmanship is perfection.

Maria, generously added 3 amazing lavender filled pillows!

The little cards you included are so sweet...and yes, I hope you add them to your shop!

I plan to do a post very soon about my new treasures, hope to do a little garden table setting with everything!

Thank you again Maria
