Castello di Amorosa in Napa Valley, California

Hello!
I wanted to share a few images of our recent visit to Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga, California.
Castello di Amorosa is a beautiful castle located in the Napa Valley.
We didn't actually tour the inside of the castle, however there was so much beauty to be seen outside the castle...
I wish I had gotten more pictures of the castle, I kind of got distracted taking pictures of the beautiful sheep.....

~my beautiful nieces Katie and Amelia~

Betty (Nancy's sister) brought us to the castle and showed us around Napa Valley

~my brother Merle and his wife Nancy and their beautiful girls~

Enjoy the rest of your week!
Take Care,
Maria

Oh Maria,

You take the most beautiful photos!

What a wonderful place, I should so love to go there one day.

I just put your grapes as my new screensaver, so BEAUTIFUL!

I went to Napa Valley when the grapes were being harvested once and it was the neatest thing ever. Only time I have ever been there and I have been dying to go back.

Thanks for sharing your trip!

I've lived in northern California for many, many years, and we visit the Napa Valley pretty frequently. Castello di Amorosa IS a very beautiful site. Too bad you didn't also go inside... there are many beautiful spots for great photos, including some spots (turrets!) that also look out over the valley and provide great photo ops and breathtaking views. Personally, I wouldn't do the wine tasting here--but each to his own! I prefer a smaller tasting environment. But I would definitely recommend exploring the grounds, inside and out, as it is very beautiful and full of photo ops!
