A Chic French Linen Market Tote Giveaway and more.....

Hello Everyone!
I wanted to let you know I am having a giveaway over at My Sweet Savannah's today.
I didn't want you to miss out...
Here's what is in the giveaway.....

This tote is made from antique french linen.
We line the tote with french linen as well.
It is machine washable.....

My sister Liz does such a great job sewing these totes.

It is a generous size tote, it measures...
13" tall with 12" straps
15" wide front and back
8" wide sides

The antique french linen towel inside the tote is also included in the giveaway....
It  has two beautiful red (my favorite accent color) stripes...
The sides of the towel are all hemmed under by hand....
That is one of my favorite things about antique linens...
Imagine the time spent to just hem a towel for the kitchen....

That are made from antique french linens......

and each one is filled with a half of a pound of dried organic lavender....

The giveaway is open to everyone, including international readers...

If you would like to enter the giveaway you can visit my good friend
Be sure and check her home out while you are over there.....
Melaine is very talented....
Melaine can do just about anything, including running a table saw....
Gotta love this girl...
Thank You Melaine for hosting this giveaway for me....

P.S. I enabled the comments for this post, because you have to comment on Melaine's blog to enter the giveaway.....
Thank you!
Have a great week...
I'll be back next week.....

La Dolfina

Hello everyone,
I hope you are having a great Tuesday....
I went to the Alameda Flea Market on Sunday....
to do a little treasure hunting for the shop, with my two daughters....
We had a lot of fun shopping the flea market together...
My girls are great helpers....
I actually ran into a blog friend while at the flea market on Sunday....
I got to meet Therese from La Dolfina....
It is funny because I have been a follower of her blog for about a year now...
We actually have crossed paths a number of times, and didn't realize it until we both had posted about the event....
We finally got to meet in person...
Therese is just as sweet in person as she seems on her blog.
I'll be back with a fun giveaway tomorrow.  I hope you can come back for a visit.
Take Care,
Maria

A Quick Post

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all having a great weekend...
I have been working on getting a room put together for my online shop.
We are currently turning our extra bedroom into a room to store all of my shop items.
I had initially planned to show you the bedroom but never got around to it....
I have all kinds of ideas of what I want Thad to do in there for shelving...
I desperately need shelves in that room to hold all of my shop items.
Now I just need to find a few more materials to complete the room....
It also meant moving a few lights around....
My poor husband gets the job of moving the chandeliers around in the house....
It pretty much drives him crazy...

This one is going in the shop room...
Which means the one that was in here, will be going in my daughters' room.
Is there something you like to move around in your house, to help freshen things up....
Or should I say is there something you make your husband move around in your house to help freshen things up?

On another note....
I wanted to share a few links to blogs I think you will enjoy!

This is where I go to get my Domino fix, Lauren is a talented designer.....Lauren's home
was featured in the December issue of Better Homes and Gardens.  I love Lauren's home.

I love Jennifer's photography and style of her beautiful home...and shop, she makes the most adorable children's clothes.

The next Rachel Ashwell?

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Take Care,
Maria
