Our Entryway, Using Totes and Baskets to Store Clutter

Hello!
My sister flew in from GA yesterday, we are working together to create some fun items for the shop made from grain sacks....
I just wanted to post a couple pictures I took of our entryway a couple of months ago....
If there is one room I dream of having it would be a mudroom....
We do not have a mudroom, however we do have a small entryway...
When you have five kids and try to run a business out of your home, it seems like you never have enough storage space for things...

Vintage french coat racks are a lifesaver....
The kids each have one in their  bedrooms.

We fill the totes that my sister made for us with odds and ends....
They help hide the clutter....
I am lucky to have a sister who will sew for me : )

I always love to display our boots....
I like getting two uses out of them....

Baskets.....
One can never have too many baskets or crates.
This particular vintage french basket is a favorite...
I have these stacked throughout my house to store all of my linens in that we use for the shop....
This particular one is stocked with blankets that we use around the house.

On another note....

My sister made a few grain sack totes for the shop, I hope to list them in the shop soon,
however I am still searching for the perfect handles.....

Also I have to apologize I haven't been able to email out for the past week.
I was able to send a couple emails out and then my email completely stopped working.
Our email was hacked into and I think we finally have it worked out.
I will be trying to respond to emails this evening.
Take Care,
Maria

Always such a joy to see a new post from you! :) I wish we had a mud room , too. My entryway is very similar to yours with the narrow window next to the front door. I have a similar set up with the coat rack. Love your pretty French coat rack and all the lined up boots. I like how you use totes to hide odds n ends. Last year, keeping gloves and hats together was not the greatest. Have a great weekend!

Gosh, I love, love your home! It looks so nice and tidy… and given that you have kids, this is really, really neat. You should win an award for this :D I am saying this as I have a son. He’s almost three and the clutter that he creates is really unbelievable. HAHA.

And yes, you’re so lucky that you have a sister that will sew for you. Those totes are fantastic, Maria. Thanks for sharing this tip – never thought of using totes to store clutter.

By the way, I'm a new visitor of your site. I'm Amy of Mega Quick Sale
